High Royds Residents’ Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting in March – in the first face-to-face AGM since Covid struck two years ago.
The meeting, on Thursday, March 24, will take place at St Mary’s School at 7.30pm.
Some members of the Association are retiring, and our Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator has moved away. So we’re looking for nominations for the committee and for various officer roles.
Formal roles are: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator.
At present secretarial duties are shared between Committee members, for example, website management, Facebook admin, minute taking , email monitoring, and the production and distribution of Newsletters – but offers of help are welcome.
If you would like to put your name forward for one of the roles – or to help the Association in any way – please indicate your interest by 5pm Wednesday, March 16, by emailing: hrra@highroyds.org.uk
NOTE: Trinity Estates which now manages the Wider Estate and many of the residential blocks, has indicated that it will recognise HRRA and it will involve two nominated representatives in future budget reviews and discussions.
This will be our opportunity to influence Trinity on how the High Royds Estate you pay for is managed in the future.
An agenda for the evening will be issued nearer the date.
